Friends of Groombridge Place
The Raptor Centre, based at Groombridge Place, is the largest conservation centre for birds of prey in the South East. Flying displays take place twice daily (weather permitting) from Tuesday to Sunday and on Bank Holiday Mondays.
These displays, which feature eagles, hawks, owls and falcons, take place at 12.30pm and 3.30 pm - with each display featuring a different feathered line-up.
Groombridge Place is a short walk from Groombridge Station which is part of the Spa Valley Railway.
The railway operates steam and heritage diesel trains between Eridge, Groombridge, High Rocks and Tunbridge Wells.
The railway is open every weekend until 2nd November and selected weekdays in the school holidays (see their timetable for details). Tickets may be purchased online, or are available on the day of travel from one of the stations.
