Book a magical day out at Groombridge Place near Royal Tunbridge Wells in Kent this Christmas.
Families can book a visit to see Father Christmas on selected days from Saturday 7 December 2019 until 24 December 2019. Each slot offers a private family visit with Father Christmas and his friendly elf in his beautifully decorated home. During each visit children will receive a gift to take home.
Children can also enjoy making Christmas decorations in the café while Mum and Dad enjoy a hot drink and a mince pie or something delicious from the festive menu. There will also be storytelling at various times throughout the day.
Admission includes entry into the Enchanted Forest with its suspended wooden bridges and a huge wooden boat in Crusoe’s World. Everyone can also discover the thrilling giant tree swings deep in the enchanted forest.
Keep an eye out for the Fallow deer which graze close to the forest.
Visit the walled gardens and look out for the beautiful peacocks. Children can also run round a small maze and through the secret garden before playing chess on the giant chess set. Look out for the brass plaques in the garden which tell us about some of the famous people who frequented Groombridge Place.
Two incredible birds of prey displays will take place every day from the UK Owl and Raptor Centre, so come and meet the owls and eagles.
Children who visit the face-painter can choose from some amazing designs (a small charge applies). The canal boat will also have a festive theme and is £1 for children and £1.50 for adults.
Last entry is 3pm and car parking is free.
Groombridge Place is located on the Kent and East Sussex borders in the historic village of Groombridge.
