Visit the Pumpkin Grotto in October Half Term
For the perfect family day out in October Half Term visit Groombridge Place near Tunbridge Wells between Monday 26 October and Sunday 1 November 2020.
The little secret garden with its gentle stream and wooden bridge will be transformed into a magical pumpkin grotto with a one-way system in place to ensure social distancing can be maintained.
Visit the walled garden and see if you can spot all the hidden pumpkins and if you come in fancy dress there may be something special waiting for every ghoul, ghost, phantom and skeleton!
During half term, families can take advantage of the new flexible family & friends’ ticket which allows four people to visit for £25 with just one of the group needing to be under 12. This makes it easy for friends and families to visit together and save money on admission.
This delightful attraction in set in beautiful countryside with plenty of outdoor space for children to run round and burn off excess energy including in the enchanted forest which is famous for its giant tree and nest swings. Admission also includes Crusoe’s World with its wooden rope bridge, a giant wooden ship and a new slide for children to enjoy. If you follow the path from Crusoe’s World to the top of the forest you will discover the giant tree swings and the raised Board Walk with its rope swings and a zip wire.
The amazing birds of prey displays take place twice daily and offer a fantastic way to get up close to some incredible birds of prey including Barn owls, Hawks and Eagles.
Visitors who take the picturesque walk along the canal and through the forest may also catch a glimpse of the resident herd of fallow deer. Don’t forget to say hello to Harry the resident ‘Zeedonk’ which is half donkey and half Zebra and his Shetland pony friend, Bo Patch!
A kiosk will be open at Crusoe’s World selling hot and cold drinks and snacks.
There are specific time slots available each day and these can be booked in advance.
Admission to Groombridge Place: Any 4 friends or family (one under 12) £25, adults £8.95, children £6.95. Pre-walking infants free.
Due to social distancing guidelines only a limited number of tickets will be allocated each day with a maximum of 6 tickets available for each person making the booking in line with the latest government guidelines.
The attraction will be open between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm and gates will be closed promptly.
