Groombridge Place Estate provides a choice of stunning venues for all styles of wedding, from intimate gatherings to larger occasions. Clever planting ensures colour and scent throughout the year, offering unforgettable moments for you and your guests.

Wedding ceremonies are held in the majestic, oak panelled Baronial Hall adjacent to the house; its high beamed ceiling, heraldic stained glass and minstrel’s gallery create a timeless and magical atmosphere. This exquisite hall seats up to 100 people and leads directly to a pretty private courtyard.

We have a number of dining venues to choose from for the wedding breakfast.

The Orchard Hall can seat up to 70 guests for a sit down meal, and 100 for a relaxed buffet and a celebration. This is a light, airy room with two large private terraces (often frequented by friendly peacocks) and is adjacent to the formal gardens.  The Orchard Hall has its own bar area, disabled access and use of our private terrace for outdoors relaxation in the evening. The Orchard Hall will not be available during our Peak Summer Holiday Period.

The Marquee Lawn overlooks The Manor House, offering uninterrupted views of the local countryside and our beautifully draped marquee can accommodate from 70 to 200 guests. Here we offer the possibility for formal dining, as well as the option of a BBQ and Hog Roast. The Marquee Lawn has its own bar area, disabled access and use of the Tennis Court area including our Fire Pit.

Outside suppliers such as the marquee hire, caterers, linen etc you would deal with directly and separately regarding all specs, costing, payments etc. We can supply a list of our preferred suppliers should you wish.
